Snoop Dogg's new album Missionary produced by Dr. Dre is a star-studded affair which features Tom Petty and Jelly Roll on the new single "Last Dance with Mary Jane.” In a recent interview, Dr. Dre shared that the Petty family provided Tom’s vocal and harmonica which he used to build the chorus. In an interview for Defiant Ones, the 2017 documentary series on Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre, Tom shared with Jimmy that if Dre would do a version of “Mary Jane’s Last Dance” it would be a big hit. “Jimmy, that one’s just waiting to explode,” he said. Listen now!
